Do you remember the first time your parents allowed you to stay home alone? It was probably a pretty cool experience that not only made you feel like a "big kid" but also let you know that your parents had confidence in you. Let us help you equip your child with additional tools and knowledge to ensure that their time home alone is safer. Safe at Home is a 90-minute course designed to provide students in grades 4 -6 with important safety training to help them stay home alone. During this Safe Sitter® course, students will engage with a live, remote instructor to learn: • How to practice safe habits • Prevent unsafe situations • How to navigate weather emergencies • How to perform basic First Aid • How to handle common household emergencies Register your child to join this interactive learning experience from the comfort of your own home! Supplies: All students will be mailed a book to the address provided by the parent in the booking form. Please be sure to include any applicable unit, apartment or suite numbers in the address form. All books are shipped via USPS Priority Mail in the parent’s name, unless otherwise noted on the booking form.
